These nutrients boost immune systems which helps to protect us from illness and disease, improve circulation and metabolism, regulate blood-sugar as well as improve general gut health.
HOW TO USE HEMP HEARTS
Hemp Hearts are an excellent choice for snack food. You can eat them straight from the bag! Our Hemp Hearts can be used as additions to savoury or sweet baking much the same way you use other seeds. Sprinkle on salads and add to soups, casseroles, sauces and dips or blend with water and vanilla for a dairy free hemp milk.

On 28 April 2017, trans-Tasman ministers approved a change to the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. The change will allow the use of hemp seed as a food for human consumption. However, the Government has to change some laws before that can happen. These law changes are expected to be completed by mid 2018. In the meantime Hemp products other than hemp oil are only allowed to be sold for animal consumption in NZ and Australia.
When buying hemp as a food product, manufactured to human food grade, please do so to consume in a country where hemp is legal.
